Getting Here
The postcode is DE45 1NJ. Although if you are using a Satnav, the postcode drops you in a random field (!), so it is only good for getting to the village of Ashford-in-the -Water itself and does not bring you as far as the actual cottage.
Google Maps has a pin dropped on the exact location of Groom's Cottage and The Coach House (see below). The link is here:

If you have the brilliant location App called 'what3words', then our driveway opening has the combination 'twice.collected.seats'.
The simple directions are:
From Bakewell take the A6 in the direction of Buxton turning right at the signpost to Ashford in the Water, then left into the village and then right opposite the “Ashford Arms” pub in the direction of "Monsal Head" on the B6465. Proceed up the hill, pass Longstone Lane on the right and a group of bungalows on your left, then our driveway is further up the hill on the left. It is a gravel farm track and the entrance has dry stone walls to either side and is signed ‘Parkfield’ and "Private. No Parking. No Turning'. If it is dark, you will see green reflectors on either side of the driveway. Go over the cattlegrid. After 100 metres the driveway bends round to the left. Go over another cattlegrid and park immediately on your left.
Keys are kept in a keysafe by the front door. Visitors are requested not to arrive before 3pm and to leave no later than 10am on day of departure.
